Asked about the reported City interest, Paqueta said at a press conference: "I have a lot of respect for West Ham. I've had a very good season and this has helped me a lot in my evolution in the Premier League. Out of respect for them, I have to remain focused on my work."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
City are said to be considering reigniting their interest in the 26-year-old in the summer window but the outcome of the FA's investigation could determine whether or not they make an offer for him at the end of the season.
"It’s been seven months since it’s been happened and I’m co-operating, doing what’s in my power so that it can be resolved," Paqueta said of the investigation.
