After following up a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad with a 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo in La Liga, Barcelona returned to winning ways on Tuesday as they breezed past Brest 3-0 in the Champions League courtesy of a Robert Lewandowski brace and a goal from Dani Olmo. This was the third consecutive game that star winger Lamine Yamal missed due to his ankle injury. The Spanish sensation did not train with the team on Monday and therefore was kept out of the matchday squad.

After the game, manager Flick was caught on camera sharing a passionate exchange with the youngster on the touchline, and later in his post-match press conference, the German coach revealed what he told Yamal to motivate him. He also provided an update on the 17-year-old's condition.
WHAT HANSI FLICK SAID
Speaking to reporters, the Blaugrana boss said: "I told him that I hope he'll be with us on Saturday against Las Palmas. He'll train with us tomorrow." He then jokingly told a journalist: "Next time you come with me and listen to him."
