da dobrowin: The left-back was sensational, scoring Barca's first goal and laying on the assist for Joao Felix to net the winner
da realbet: Barcelona avoided a potential banana skin on Tuesday night as they beat Porto 2-1 and secure their qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time in three seasons.
Porto opened the scoring on the half-hour mark, as Pepe smashed in a rebound from a Mehdi Taremi effort. But Barca equalised within two minutes, as Joao Cancelo dropped his shoulder, and slammed the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Cancelo was then central to Barcelona's second goal, driving down the left flank and finding Joao Felix, who finished coolly. Barcelona were chaotic at times, as Porto repeatedly found themselves in promising positions, but were let down by poor finishing. Inaki Pena made a number of important saves to keep the Catalan giants in front.

Inaki Pena (6/10):
Beaten all ends up by Pepe's opener but should have done better with Taremi's initial shot. Made a couple of important saves late on to keep Barca ahead, though.
Jules Kounde (5/10):
Just didn't look hugely comfortable at right-back when faced with Porto's pace.
Ronald Araujo (7/10):
Made a couple of excellent tackles and had to cover for Martinez at times.
Inigo Martinez (5/10):
Struggled against Taremi, who repeatedly wriggled free, although the Porto striker couldn't find the back of the net.
Joao Cancelo (9/10):
Scored Barcelona's equaliser with a brilliant strike and laid on the assist for Felix's goal. Levels above everyone else on the pitch, both defensively and in attack. Subbed late on.

Frenkie De Jong (6/10):
Booked for a cynical foul in the first half. Kept the ball moving, and always works hard.
Ilkay Gundogan (6/10):
Had to do more defensive work than he perhaps would have liked, and that limited his effectiveness in the final third.
Pedri (6/10):
Struggled to stamp his authority on the game but kept the tempo of the game up with his passing.

Raphinha (6/10):
Stung the palms of Costa early on and made a few excellent runs. Saw a bicycle kick brilliantly saved by the Porto 'keeper late on.
Robert Lewandowski (5/10):
Dropped deep to link play when he could but had precious few chances of goal. A peripheral figure, as he was playing with his back to goal for the duration.
Joao Felix (7/10):
Spurned a golden chance as he shot over from six yards but made up for a few missed opportunities with a fine finish to give Barca a 2-1 lead after some clever link-up with Cancelo. Subbed for Torres.

Ferran Torres (5/10):
On for Felix, but couldn't impact the game.
Alejandro Balde (6/10):
Replaced Cancelo late on and did nothing wrong.
Lamine Yamal (N/A):
On for Raphinha just before injury-time.
Xavi (6/10):
His Barcelona side were chaotic, and they might have got away with one here. He might have been in real trouble with a defeat, but his players did enough.
