Burnley have launched a surprise move to sign former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen this summer.

Per the Daily Mail, Burnley are trying to sign Eriksen after his exit from United. The Denmark international left the club at the end of last season, and has already rejected the chance to play for Wrexham.

The 33-year-old has received multiple offers this summer, per the report, with Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and Trabzonspor all interested. Eriksen would prefer to stay in western Europe, though, and Burnley are hoping to convince him to return to the Premier League. German and Spanish clubs are also looking at the playmaker.
