Barcelona had a great day at the office when they visited Getafe over the weekend.

Even though that was a tough clash on the road against a tricky opponent, Blaugrana still managed to snatch all three points on the day without conceding a goal in return.

One big part of that clean sheet was also their goalkeeper, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and interestingly enough, the German also managed to tally an assist when he squared a brilliant long ball right into the feet of Luis Suarez.

Naturally, after the game, many Barcelona fans were simply in love with their goalie and they quickly took to social media and Twitter to shower him with compliments and great messages in general.

The Catalans’ official account asked them to describe Ter Stegen and they’ve done so with brilliant replies, calling him their best player after Lionel Messi and even stating he’s bigger than the whole club.

Of course, many also believe he is the best goalkeeper in the world.
