The Gunners' attack had another off day as they dropped more points in the Premier League title race
Arsenal's title chances took another major blow as they were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Everton on Saturday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta's side dominated the contest, but struggled to break down the visitors' resolute defence on a day which saw them drop two valuable points for the second successive weekend in the Premier League.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard went closest to breaking the deadlock for the Gunners, but both were denied by fine saves from Jordan Pickford either side of half-time.
The goalless draw will only lead to more questions about the Arsenal attack ahead of the January transfer window, with many feeling reinforcements are essential if they are to have any chance of chasing down Liverpool in the title race.

David Raya (6/10):
A spectator for much of the afternoon. Swept up well whenever called upon.
Jurrien Timber (7/10):
Always looks so much comfortable when playing on the right. Solid shift.
William Saliba (7/10):
Strong as always, didn't really give Calvert-Lewin a sniff.
Gabriel Magalhaes (7/10):
Good to see him back in the side after missing the last few games. Made one outstanding block early on.
Myles Lewis-Skelly (7/10):
Deserved his start after his bright midweek display. Another strong showing from the youngster at left-back.

Declan Rice (6/10):
Strong first half display, Everton couldn't really get away from him in midfield. Replaced in the second half as Arteta continues to try and manage his minutes.
Mikel Merino (6/10):
Tidy enough. Worked hard, but never really looked like opening Everton up or being a threat.
Martin Odegaard (4/10):
A poor afternoon for the Arsenal skipper. Wasted some good shooting opportunities in the first half and his passing was not up to his usual standards.

Bukayo Saka (6/10):
Everton worked so hard to deny him any space, still created one great chance for Odegaard though and forced Pickford into a fine stop just after half-time.
Kai Havertz (4/10):
On the fringes of things. Produced one lovely pass in the build up to an Odegaard chance, but other than that was quiet.
Gabriel Martinelli (4/10):
Would have liked to have seen more of him, given how congested Arsenal's right side was. Forced Pickford into one save just before half-time.

Ethan Nwaneri (5/10):
Replaced Odegaard early in the second, but couldn't really change things.
Jorginho (6/10):
Kept the ball moving well, but was unable to unlock the Everton door.
Gabriel Jesus (5/10):
No real impact having come on for the final 20 minutes.
Thomas Partey (6/10):
On at right-back, but played as another midfielder.
Leandro Trossard (5/10):
Unable to really get in the game having replaced Martinelli with 15 minutes to go.
Mikel Arteta (5/10):
Made all his subs relatively early, but they couldn't make the difference on a frustrating afternoon.
