Loads of Celtic fans have been reacting to Thursday night’s defeat in Leipzig, as the Bhoys were stunned by a first half flurry.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been poor away from Celtic Park this season, and that trend continued on Thursday night.

Both sides fielded relatively weak sides, and fans are absolutely fuming at their glaring lack of squad depth.

Leipzig took the lead after 30 minutes through Matheus Cunha, and a deflected strike from Bruma doubled the lead before Craig Gordon was forced into a brilliant save to keep it at just two.

Celtic are now third in the group, six points off leaders Salzburg, and they will have to perform infinitely better to get anything when Leipzig come to Celtic Park in two weeks.

There wasn’t a Celtic player on the pitch that will be happy with their individual performance, and fans are absolutely crucifying the club for failing to replace their departing superstars this summer.
