Leeds United fans have had a week filled with bad news.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s comments pretty much destroyed their chances of signing Che Adams, and we learnt that United would have to pay £20m if they want to sign Dwight Gayle.
However, the Elland Road faithful have been uplifted by one update on Thursday as Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that both Pablo Hernandez and Jamie Shackleton would be available for the Sheffield Wednesday match.

This was a bit of an unexpected update as Hernandez was touted to be out for a month after limping off early against Fulham, but he’s back a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated.
Shackleton returning won’t create as many headlines, but it’s another welcome boost as United have had to rely on Stuart Dallas in midfield.
Understandably, news that the club’s two-time Player of the Year winner is back fit and available was a massive lift to the supporters, and they took to Twitter to share their joy.
While pretty much every Leeds supporter was buzzing with this news, you’re always going to get a few pessimists in the replies, and some fans’ first thoughts was that they didn’t want Hernandez to be sidelined again.
You can understand their concerns as well, due to the fact that the Spaniard has now had two injuries this term after he picked up a problem against Derby earlier this season.
In other news, it may be time for Leeds to cross two names off their list of potential Eddie Nketiah replacements.
