The defeat against Eddie Howe's side meant that Tottenham dropped to the 12th position on the league table. The club's poor form in the 2024-25 campaign has led to speculation over manager Postecoglou's future, however, journalist David Ornstein has claimed that the club have faith in the head coach's abilities and are not thinking about sacking him midseason.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Speaking on , Ornstein said: "Ange Postecoglou is 100 percent safe in his job, I'm told. There is no uncertainty over his future despite the pressure he appears to be feeling in some of his public comments.
"They are backing him to lead this project forward and they would hope he delivers. They've got a chance of a League Cup trophy, of a Europa League trophy. They are focusing on that. They are also fighting to get into the top four, although, realistic about their chances on that too."
